Is Sanatana a religion (Dharma)?

SANATAN:-
According to the scriptures Sanatan is the only religion. Because from the creation of the universe to its maintenance and destruction, it is according to Sanatan Dharma. That is, almighty God created Sanatan Dharma before creating the universe, that is, the rules that the universe has to follow from beginning to end is Sanatan Dharma. The rising of the sun, the setting of the wind, the changing of the seasons, everything happens following predetermined rules and the set of these rules is eternal. That's why Sanatan is the only religion.

(क्या सनातन एक धर्म है?
शास्त्रों के अनुसार सनातन ही एक मात्र धर्म है। क्योंकि श्रृष्टि का निर्माण से लेकर पालन व संहार सनातन धर्म के अनुसार होता है। अर्थात ईश्वर ने श्रृष्टि की रचना करने से पूर्व सनातन धर्म की रचना की अर्थात वो नियम जिनका पालन ब्रह्माण्ड को प्रारम्भ से अन्त तक करना है वह सनातन धर्म है। सूर्य का निकलना, अस्त होना, हवा का बहना, ऋतुओं का बदलना सब कुछ पूर्व निर्धारित नियमों का पालन करते हुए होता है और इन नियमों का समूह ही सनातन है। अतः सनातन ही धर्म है।)


What is a religion (Dharma)?

In simple language, a group or community that worships any one God is called religion. Religion or creed is a belief in one or more supernatural power and along with it a group of customs, rituals, traditions, worship and philosophy associated with it. There are many sects or sects in the world which are known by different names and having faith in different Gods, they follow different worship methods and customs. In which Christianity and Islam are the main ones.

(धर्म क्या है?
धर्म:-
साधारण भाषा में किसी एक ईश्वर की आराधना करने वाले समूह या समूदाय को धर्म कहते हैं। धर्म या पन्थ किसी एक या अधिक परलौकिक शक्ति में विश्वास और इसके साथ-साथ उसके साथ जुड़ी रीति, रिवाज, परम्परा, पूजा-पद्धति और दर्शन का समूह है। विश्व में ऐसे अनेक पंथ या सम्प्रदाय हैं जो अलग अलग नाम से जाने जाते हैं तथा अलग अलग ईश्वर में आस्था रखते हुए अलग अलग पूजा पद्धति व रीति रिवाजों का पालन करते हैं। जिसमें इसाई व इस्लाम मुख्य है।)

Religion in Indian culture: -
In Indian culture, the word religion has been mentioned in a special sense. The literal meaning of "Dharma" is - "to be worn" means that which should be worn by all human beings. Therefore, religion can also be called God-given ideal code of conduct or divine constitution. Religion is the cosmic duty given by God to human beings.

(भारतीय संस्कृति में धर्म:- 
भारतीय संस्कृति में धर्म शब्द का उल्लेख विशेष अर्थ में किया गया है। "धर्म" का शाब्दिक अर्थ होता है- "धारण करने योग्य" अर्थात जिसे सभी मनुष्यों को धारण करना चाहिये। अतः धर्म को ईश्वर प्रदत्त आदर्श आचार संहिता अथवा ईश्वरीय संविधान भी कहा जा सकता है। मानव के लिये परमात्मा प्रदत्त लौकिक कर्तव्य ही धर्म है।)

 Religion according to the scriptures: -
That which is practical and conductable is called Dharma. The one who keeps us happy, gives us respect, respect and love in the society, so that we can get a lot of affection, respect and love from our friends and relatives, that is religion. Therefore, the root of Sanatana Dharma is to liberate man from all physical and mental sufferings.

(शास्त्रों के अनुसार धर्म :-
जो व्यावहारिक और आचरणीय है, वह धर्म कहा जाता है। जो हमें प्रसन्न रखें, समाज में सम्मान, आदर, प्यार प्रदान करें, जिससे हम बन्धु-बांधव, कुटुम्ब-परिवार में बहुत स्नेह, आदर, प्यार प्राप्त कर सकें, वही धर्म है। अतः मनुष्य को सभी शारीरिक एवं मानसिक कष्टों से मुक्ति दिलाना ही सनातन धर्म का मूल है।)
